About this role
Slash is seeking a Security-focused Software Engineer to build and own the security program for their rapidly growing fintech platform. This hands-on role requires a strong engineering background, encompassing both application and infrastructure security, to ensure the reliable and secure processing of billions in business spend. You'll shape security practices and proactively address vulnerabilities across the entire stack.
What you'll do
- Own and scale Slash's security program end-to-end.
- Manage and harden network security (Cloudflare, AWS WAF, VPC).
- Develop and ship application security features (passkey authentication, rate limiting).
- Manage penetration tests and the bug bounty program.
- Contribute to compliance efforts (PCI, SOC 2).
- Establish security patterns, tooling, and guardrails.
