About this role

Lead database architecture and performance optimization for a compliance-focused platform handling massive data volumes and transaction throughput. You'll be the technical authority on SQL Server infrastructure, driving reliability and scaling decisions while mentoring engineers across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Design and optimize SQL Server infrastructure for multi-terabyte datasets and billions of rows
  • Architect real-time data pipelines and establish technical direction for system performance
  • Ensure data reliability and security for compliance-critical applications
  • Mentor engineers across the organization on database best practices
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and SRE teams on complex technical challenges
  • Maintain system performance under sustained high-throughput workloads (100K+ TPS)
