About this role
SpaceX seeks an AI Security Software Engineer for the Starshield program to design and deploy AI-driven security agents that automate defense across government-focused satellite infrastructure. You'll combine expertise in AI/LLM systems with security engineering to identify vulnerabilities, harden systems, and integrate AI safely into mission-critical networks.
What you'll do
- Design and build AI agents that automate network defense and systems security for Starshield infrastructure
- Use AI to discover and remediate security issues across Starshield systems and infrastructure
- Test and advise on AI integrations into new and existing Starshield programs
- Identify opportunities for meaningful security improvements through automation and AI
- Maintain production systems and enhance security posture through direct implementation and cross-team recommendations
