About this role
SpaceX seeks an AI Security Software Engineer to design and deploy AI-driven security agents for Starshield, the company's government-focused satellite network. You'll automate threat detection and response, secure LLM integrations, and maintain production defense systems across critical space infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Design and build AI agents that automate network and systems defense for Starshield
- Use AI to discover and remediate security vulnerabilities in Starshield infrastructure
- Test and validate AI integrations into new and existing Starshield systems
- Identify opportunities to apply automation and AI for security improvements across the program
- Maintain production systems and enhance security posture through direct work and cross-team recommendations
