About this role
SpaceX seeks an Automation and Test Engineer to design and build innovative test platforms for Starlink satellite software and hardware. You'll develop automation tools for continuous integration, create hardware-in-the-loop testing environments, and collaborate with engineers across the organization to enable rapid, reliable software deployment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop test platforms to validate Starlink software across multiple environments (HITL, HIL, virtualized simulations)
- Create automation tools for continuous integration, test execution, and data analysis
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and conduct in-depth investigations with engineering teams
- Perform hands-on integration and troubleshooting of Starlink hardware and software systems
- Work with developers to build reliable, fast, and user-friendly integrated test platforms
- Identify and implement improvements to test systems and infrastructure
