About this role
Join SpaceX's Starship avionics team to design, troubleshoot, and operate the electrical systems powering next-generation spacecraft. You'll work across the entire vehicle lifecycle—from production and testing through launch and recovery—while collaborating cross-functionally to advance avionics architectures and solve real-time operational challenges.
What you'll do
- Oversee avionics systems through all integration stages from production to launch approval
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical hardware failures on aggressive timelines with root cause analysis
- Operate avionics systems during pad and flight operations, evaluating vehicle health and making real-time decisions
- Collaborate on next-generation avionics architectures to reduce mass, cost, and labor
- Support system-level testing and validation of electrical components and subsystems
- Drive process improvements to prevent recurring avionics issues
