About this role
SpaceX seeks a Construction Engineer to design, build, and manage advanced manufacturing facilities and infrastructure projects in Hawthorne, CA. You'll own full project lifecycles from conception through activation, coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders while solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Own full lifecycle of construction projects ensuring on-time and under-budget delivery
- Manage multi-discipline construction projects in field and office settings
- Perform project scheduling, cost control, and budgetary analysis
- Resolve design and construction conflicts in real-time with field teams
- Coordinate contractor proposals, contract assignment, and vendor management
- Facilitate regulatory approvals and coordinate with facilities teams for building operations
