About this role
SpaceX seeks a Data Engineer to design and operate the software systems, data pipelines, and forecasting models that enable global deployment and reliability of Starlink's ground network infrastructure. You'll bridge data engineering, supply chain, and operations to automate logistics, inventory management, and hardware distribution at scale.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end workflow deployment and optimization for Starlink Ground Network operations
- Develop automation systems for antenna, optical hardware, and spare parts inventory flow with predictive failure modeling
- Build and maintain forecasting engines to predict hardware demand from deployment plans and program targets
- Architect backend services and APIs to integrate planning, logistics, and ERP/MRP systems
- Automate supply chain processes including inventory syncs, order creation, kitting, and spares replenishment
- Design resilient, scalable data infrastructure to support global infrastructure management
