SpaceX seeks a Design Reliability Engineer to ensure flight-worthy designs and operations of Falcon and Dragon vehicles by conducting peer reviews, developing design criteria, and driving improvements across hardware teams. What you'll do

  • Enforce SpaceX design processes and criteria compliance for flight, launch, and recovery systems
  • Conduct critical peer reviews and approve hardware designs during design reviews and test campaigns
  • Develop design criteria, requirements, and verification strategies for new systems
  • Establish processes enabling reliable, aircraft-like operations of launch vehicles and spacecraft
  • Collaborate with hardware teams to identify and implement design improvements
  • Develop specialized analysis tools and scripts for engineering teams
