Electrical Integration Engineer (Starlink Aviation)
About this role
SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Integration Engineer for the Starlink Aviation team to design and integrate satellite connectivity systems into various aircraft platforms. You'll develop electrical schematics, solve aviation-specific integration challenges, and support certification efforts while working cross-functionally with design, test, and manufacturing teams.
What you'll do
- Design wiring diagrams, wire routing drawings, and load analysis for multiple aircraft types
- Develop creative solutions for aircraft-specific electrical integration problems
- Support regulatory certification by documenting and presenting electrical designs to authorities
- Create and supplement aircraft manuals for Starlink installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Provide front-line technical support for Starlink aviation electrical systems
- Conduct root cause investigations to improve product quality and reliability
