About this role
SpaceX seeks an experienced EHS professional to develop and oversee contractor safety management programs across high-risk operations. Working with minimal supervision, you'll provide proactive safety leadership, conduct assessments and audits, and champion compliance across domestic and international teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Design and implement contractor safety management programs across the organization
- Conduct site assessments, audits, hazard analyses, and safety inspections with autonomy
- Develop safety training, risk mitigation strategies, and incident investigation support
- Partner with supply, legal, and operations teams to ensure regulatory compliance
- Travel to coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams domestically and internationally
- Respond to urgent safety concerns and drive continuous safety culture improvements
