Equipment Reliability Engineer (Starlink/Akoustis)

The Equipment Reliability Engineer at SpaceX's Akoustis subsidiary will focus on maintaining high uptime and reliability for facility systems and equipment. This role involves overseeing engineering processes, managing capital projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

What you'll do

• Lead project teams and manage the MEP engineering process
• Provide technical support to ensure code compliance
• Coordinate maintenance and upgrades for facility systems
• Manage capital expenditure processes for site projects
• Support onboarding and commissioning of new equipment
• Respond to facility emergencies and maintain readiness procedures

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years in MEP design, construction, or maintenance
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit
• Knowledge of HVAC systems
• Familiarity with electrical systems and codes
• Project management skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in teams
