About this role
SpaceX is hiring a Flight Software Infrastructure Engineer for the Starlink team to build and maintain tooling, build systems, and shared software that enables rapid development and deployment across satellite and ground platforms. You'll collaborate with flight software teams to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then design solutions to streamline the entire development ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Maintain flight code generation tooling used by flight software and guidance/navigation/control engineers
- Maintain core shared flight software features across satellite products
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve slow or error-prone aspects of embedded software development
- Invent tools and processes to enable fast, accurate development and operational systems
- Engage ground software teams to optimize flight systems for constellation operations
