About this role
SpaceX seeks a full stack software engineer to build advanced software solutions for their in-house machine shop and manufacturing operations supporting Starship production. You'll develop web applications, CNC automation algorithms, and deployment systems to accelerate production rates and reduce time-to-manufacturing, requiring full stack expertise across frontend, backend, and infrastructure technologies.
What you'll do
- Design and develop reliable full stack software solutions used across SpaceX manufacturing teams
- Own complete software lifecycle from architecture and design through testing and production deployment
- Create applications that optimize machine shop operations and reduce CAD-to-part cycle time
- Develop algorithms and AI-powered systems for automated CNC program generation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture, design decisions, and code reviews
- Investigate user problems and engineer efficient solutions for production workflows
