About this role
SpaceX seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop mission-critical internal systems that power launch vehicle production, Starlink operations, and manufacturing software. You'll own challenging projects end-to-end, collaborating with teams across the company to build reliable, high-impact solutions that directly support SpaceX's space exploration goals.
What you'll do
- Develop highly reliable software solutions deployed across SpaceX operations
- Create new applications that improve SpaceX's operational efficiency
- Build prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
- Own all aspects of software engineering and product development lifecycle
- Analyze user problems to design and implement efficient solutions
- Contribute to team discussions on architecture, design, and code quality

- Full stack development with 1+ years of experience
- Object-oriented programming (Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar)
- Single page application development (Angular, React, or similar)
- Backend systems design and architecture
- Docker and Kubernetes containerization
- Version control, CI/CD, and deployment practices
- Database design (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Data streaming technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
