SpaceX seeks an IT Network Infrastructure Engineer to design and document outside plant fiber optic infrastructure at Starbase, Texas. The role involves creating CAD drawings, GIS maps, and construction documentation for critical connectivity across the expanding spaceport facility.

What you'll do

  • Create and revise OSP fiber design drawings, conduit layouts, and splice diagrams using AutoCAD
  • Develop and maintain GIS-based route maps and asset inventories for fiber pathways and vaults
  • Process field survey data and convert redlines into final drawings and GIS layers
  • Support bill of materials development and loss-budget calculations
  • Coordinate design changes and as-built updates with engineers, construction teams, and utilities
  • Ensure all drawings and data comply with TIA/BICSI standards and permitting requirements
