About this role
SpaceX is hiring new graduate electrical engineers for Starlink's rapidly expanding Bastrop facility to design, develop, and manufacture satellite internet hardware and terrestrial systems. You'll work across diverse electrical specialties—from board-level design and RF systems to manufacturing processes, test automation, and facility infrastructure—in a fast-paced, in-house engineering environment.
What you'll do
- Design, analyze, and prototype complex electrical systems including mixed-signal circuits, schematics, and PCB layouts
- Conduct hardware bring-up, debugging, and testing of electronics with documentation and manufacturing support
- Develop simulation models and contribute to silicon verification and validation efforts
- Write Python automation software to control test equipment and units under test
- Perform failure analysis, root cause investigations, and reliability testing (HALT/HASS, thermal, environmental)
- Support design, operation, and troubleshooting of facility electrical systems and infrastructure

- Mixed-signal circuit board design (processors, FPGAs, Ethernet, DDR4, analog/digital converters)
- Test equipment proficiency (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, electronic load)
- Python and C/C++ programming
