About this role

SpaceX seeks a new graduate electrical engineer to design and develop high-reliability electronics for Starlink satellites and ground infrastructure. You'll own hardware projects across the full lifecycle—from concept through on-orbit operation—collaborating with cross-functional teams on avionics, payloads, gateways, and ground systems.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop high-reliability satellite and spacecraft electronics
  • Execute full hardware lifecycle: requirements, component selection, schematics, PCB layout, prototyping, debugging, and testing
  • Support production, satellite integration, and flight operations with hands-on involvement
  • Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, and test engineering teams on integrated systems
  • Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting of satellite and gateway hardware
  • Monitor on-orbit satellite health and lead anomaly investigations
