About this role
SpaceX seeks a new graduate security software engineer for Starshield, a government-focused satellite network program. You'll design and implement security infrastructure, cryptographic services, and security features across routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites while maintaining production systems and collaborating across engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Design and build security infrastructure including cryptographic services for Starshield systems
- Develop security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites
- Integrate security into factory processes and provide supporting network services
- Maintain production systems and improve security posture through implementation and recommendations
- Build prototypes and identify, design, and test security improvements
- Collaborate with other engineering teams on security enhancements
