About this role

SpaceX is hiring new graduate software engineers to develop and test flight control systems and simulations for the Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket. You'll work across the full software stack—from firmware to applications—collaborating with hardware teams to deliver mission-critical autonomous systems that enable humanity's journey to Mars.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and test software for Starship flight control and simulation systems
  • Develop highly reliable autonomous software and validation simulations
  • Own all aspects of software development including design, testing, and mission integration

  • Debug software across all stack layers: application, OS, networking, firmware, and simulation
