SpaceX is seeking an Operations Engineer for Terafab, their groundbreaking semiconductor manufacturing facility, to design and implement Environmental Health & Safety dashboards, analytics tools, and processes. This role combines data analysis with safety program development to support operations at an unprecedented scale, requiring someone who can develop systems, analyze safety data, and communicate findings across all organizational levels.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement EHS dashboards and data visualization tools for the Terafab facility
- Analyze environmental monitoring, incident reports, and safety performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-site teams to gather feedback on systems and drive continuous improvement
- Create training materials and conduct educational sessions on proper usage of safety applications and platforms
- Manage software development projects with application teams and contractors to implement improvements
- Generate incident and safety metric reports and identify root causes of operational challenges
