About this role
SpaceX seeks an Operations Engineer for Starlink Aviation to ensure reliability and performance of aviation systems. You'll investigate hardware issues, build diagnostic tools and data pipelines, and drive operational improvements across engineering and customer experience teams.
What you'll do
- Lead technical investigations into performance and reliability issues affecting aviation customers, presenting findings to leadership
- Build infrastructure, tools, and software to assess Starlink aviation hardware performance and reliability
- Apply data science and statistical methods to analyze fleet data and develop predictive models
- Develop operational processes and tooling to improve customer experience and issue resolution time
- Create and maintain data pipelines, metric aggregation systems, and dashboards for fleet visibility
- Collaborate across engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and customer experience teams to drive business outcomes
