About this role

SpaceX seeks a Platform Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure for the Starlink flight software ecosystem, focusing on accelerating developer iteration, improving build systems, and streamlining embedded software development workflows. You'll collaborate with flight software and ground teams to identify bottlenecks and deploy tools that enable rapid, high-quality satellite software delivery.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and improve flight code generation tooling for flight software and GNC engineers
  • Develop and support core flight software features shared across satellite products
  • Partner with flight software developers to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in embedded development workflows
  • Create tools and processes for fast, accurate development and operational systems
  • Collaborate with ground software teams to align flight system changes with constellation operations
