About this role
SpaceX seeks a Production Operations Engineer to lead Starship/Superheavy vehicle testing and validation at Starbase, TX. You'll oversee functional checkouts, establish test criteria, manage hazardous operations, and troubleshoot propellant and electrical systems while collaborating with engineering and field teams.
What you'll do
- Support functional checkouts of Starship/Superheavy integrated vehicles
- Establish test criteria and pass/fail requirements for vehicle validation
- Lead hazardous testing operations for propellant and electrical system validation
- Perform pressurized, electrical, and sensor checkouts via control console
- Develop first-article validation procedures and troubleshoot hardware issues in real-time
- Drive continuous improvements to testing efficiency and safety; interface across engineering and technician teams
