About this role
SpaceX seeks a Project Controls Engineer to oversee budgeting, scheduling, and cost management for large-scale Starship infrastructure projects at Cape Canaveral. You'll coordinate across engineering disciplines to design, build, and activate facilities while reporting progress to stakeholders and maintaining world-class project standards.
What you'll do
- Manage budgeting, spend tracking, and cost control for large capital projects
- Communicate project status, progress, and risks to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules from conception through commissioning
- Support resource planning, contracting strategy, and equipment procurement decisions
- Establish project KPIs and track performance against metrics
- Build budget standards, unit rate databases, and estimation tools
