About this role

SpaceX seeks a Propulsion Build Engineer to develop manufacturing processes and tooling for high-rate production of Starship and Super Heavy fluid systems. You'll collaborate with design and production teams to optimize builds, manage technicians, and execute testing while working directly with flight-critical hardware in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

  • Develop manufacturing processes and tools for efficient fluid system production
  • Create CAD models and technical prints for flight and tooling components
  • Guide and supervise technicians, welders, and fabricators on hardware builds
  • Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing programs
  • Manage build schedules and work with design teams to simplify systems
  • Execute integration operations and oversee installation of flight-critical hardware
