About this role
SpaceX seeks an RF Systems Analysis Engineer to support Starlink's regulatory strategy by conducting technical analyses of satellite spectrum coordination, modeling non-geostationary constellations, and simulating interference scenarios to inform policy recommendations before domestic and global regulators.
What you'll do
- Conduct technical analyses on radio frequency interference and satellite spectrum coordination
- Model Starlink and competing non-geostationary satellite operational topologies and hardware
- Simulate various scenarios accounting for regulatory, geographic, RF, and constellation growth constraints
- Analyze network and user experience impacts from simulation results and recommend coordination strategies
- Provide strategic regulatory recommendations and advocacy support to business development
