About this role
SpaceX seeks a Security Software Engineer for Starshield, a government-focused satellite network program. You'll design and implement security infrastructure across Starshield's ground and space systems, including cryptographic services, secure boot, and network security for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites.
What you'll do
- Design and build security infrastructure including cryptographic services for Starshield systems
- Develop security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites
- Integrate security into factory processes and provide supporting network services
- Maintain production systems and enhance security posture through implementation and recommendations
- Prototype and test security improvements across complex systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on security design
