About this role
SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer to develop mission-critical applications supporting launch vehicle production, Starship manufacturing, and Starlink's satellite constellation operations. You'll own full-stack projects that directly impact SpaceX's aerospace capabilities, working collaboratively with diverse engineering teams in a fast-paced Starbase environment.
What you'll do
- Develop highly reliable, mission-critical software used across SpaceX operations
- Create new applications that improve manufacturing and flight operations efficiency
- Build prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
- Own the complete software engineering lifecycle from design through deployment
- Analyze user problems deeply to engineer efficient, scalable solutions
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and code reviews with cross-functional teams
