About this role
SpaceX seeks a C++ Software Engineer to design and develop high-fidelity real-time simulation software supporting all SpaceX vehicles including Falcon, Dragon, and Starship. You'll build core simulation infrastructure and collaborate across engineering teams to create physics models that are critical to mission success and Mars exploration.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software for SpaceX vehicles
- Create prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
- Improve reliability and performance of simulation infrastructure
- Build models of fluids, electronics, and multi-body physics systems
- Collaborate with simulation users to develop features and enhance user experience
- Maintain excellence standards and drive continuous improvement
