About this role
SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer to develop mission-critical internal applications supporting rocket production, Starship manufacturing, and Starlink operations. You'll own full-stack development projects across diverse systems—from manufacturing software to satellite constellation management—working collaboratively to solve complex technical challenges that directly impact SpaceX's operations.
What you'll do
- Develop reliable, mission-critical software systems used across SpaceX operations
- Design and build new applications that improve manufacturing and operational efficiency
- Build prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
- Own complete software engineering lifecycle from architecture to deployment
- Investigate user problems deeply to design efficient, tailored solutions
- Contribute to architecture, design decisions, and code reviews with the engineering team
