About this role
SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer to design and develop mission-critical simulation and flight systems software that validates next-generation aerospace technologies. You'll own features across the full design-build-test-operations pipeline, working on real-time data streaming, test automation, and high-fidelity simulation platforms that directly support SpaceX's exploration goals.
What you'll do
- Develop rapid prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify technical constraints
- Build high-performance modules for real-time flight systems data streaming and processing
- Create and maintain simulation and flight software for SpaceX vehicles
- Contribute to test automation and CI/CD infrastructure development
- Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of simulation and flight platforms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver features that enhance system capabilities
