About this role
SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer to design and develop high-fidelity real-time simulation software that supports all vehicle flight systems, including Falcon, Dragon, and Starship. You'll build core simulation infrastructure and collaborate with engineering teams to create physics-based models critical to mission success.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software for all SpaceX vehicles
- Build prototypes to validate key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
- Improve reliability and performance of simulation software systems
- Collaborate with simulation users to develop new features and enhance user experience
- Uphold excellence standards and challenge the status quo in software design
