About this role

SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer for Starlink's telemetry platform to design and operate a distributed system handling petabyte-scale data ingestion, processing, and querying. You'll own end-to-end solutions that support satellite operations and improve global broadband connectivity for millions of users.

  • Design and build a highly reliable, distributed telemetry platform for petabyte-scale data processing
  • Collaborate with engineers on architecture reviews and technical design decisions
  • Partner with satellite and rocket teams to translate mission needs into software solutions
  • Own the complete software and hardware stack end-to-end
  • Analyze business problems and apply first-principles thinking to find efficient solutions
  • Operate and maintain systems in production environments
