About this role
SpaceX is seeking a Software Infrastructure Engineer for the Starlink flight software team to optimize developer workflows and build systems for satellite and ground software. You'll maintain code generation tooling, develop shared flight software features, and collaborate with engineers across the organization to eliminate bottlenecks and streamline the development ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Maintain and improve flight code generation tooling for flight software and GNC engineers
- Maintain core flight software features shared across satellite products
- Identify and resolve slow or error-prone aspects of embedded software development workflows
- Design tools and processes for fast, accurate, and user-friendly development systems
- Collaborate with ground software teams to simplify constellation operations and flight system interfaces
