About this role

SpaceX is seeking a Supervisor for IT Network Infrastructure on the 2nd shift to lead technician teams installing and maintaining mission-critical communication systems supporting Falcon, Dragon, Starship, and other spacecraft. The role combines technical expertise in low-voltage cabling and fiber infrastructure with supervisory responsibilities for scheduling, quality assurance, and team management in a fast-paced launch operations environment.

What you'll do

  • Supervise technician teams installing and maintaining mission-critical communication and cabling systems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fiber and copper network infrastructure
  • Schedule work, prioritize tasks, and provide progress updates to stakeholders
  • Perform QA auditing and maintain documentation of installations, assets, and connectivity records
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and external carriers at cross-connect facilities
  • Manage direct reports with feedback, performance reviews, and oversee timesheets and compliance

  • Knowledge of BICSI, NEC, and TIA/EIA industry standards
  • Network troubleshooting tools and telecom best practices
  • Equipment operation: oscilloscopes, multi-meters, crimping tools, soldering
  • Proficiency with Visio or CAD software for documentation
  • RF communication systems and IP/HD-SDI video infrastructure
  • Operation of boom lifts, forklifts, and work site machinery
