Supply Chain Reliability Engineer
About this role
SpaceX seeks a Supply Chain Reliability Engineer to drive quality and reliability improvements across spacecraft and launch vehicle component sourcing, procurement, and supplier management. You'll identify reliability gaps, manage non-conforming materials, and partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen supplier performance and reduce defects.
What you'll do
- Own reliability-focused improvement projects aligned with supply chain goals
- Analyze supply chain reliability data and drive reduction in supplier non-conformances
- Interface with supply chain, production, inspection, and engineering teams on quality processes
- Manage identification, segregation, control, and disposition of nonconforming materials and parts
- Collaborate with product teams to eliminate high-impact and recurring quality issues
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and design/process complexity removal
