The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers professional development, leadership training, and meaningful work experience at non-profits tackling some of our nation's most pressing policy challenges all over the United States. Early-career professionals including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates will be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States through the duration of the program. Successful candidates will interview with both our non-profit partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff, so we strongly encourage you to begin the admissions process early!

About FEE’s Education Entrepreneurship Lab:

FEE’s Education Entrepreneurship Lab is a hub for education innovation, hosting resources for families and founders alike. Positioning itself as the “Entrepreneur.com for education entrepreneurs,” the Lab champions market-based, choice-enabled, entrepreneur-driven educational models.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated intern to work closely with FEE Education Associate, Nasiyah Isra-Ul, to help expand the Lab’s output, reach, and impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in education and entrepreneurship, including alternative and emerging learning models such as homeschooling and microschooling; excellent communication skills; and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting articles and website content.
  • Creating social media posts.
  • Interacting with families and founders interested in finding or building new schools and learning models.
  • Helping with conference presentation planning.
  • Identifying new opportunities for the Lab.
  • Staying up-to-date on education policy trends.

Skills

  • A background in economics or related majors desired, but not required.
  • An understanding of education policy trends preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels; previous publishing experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and willingness to learn new software and tools.
  • Independent and team-oriented, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and resourceful mindset.
