About this role

Stratolaunch seeks an experienced Data Systems/Network Engineer to design, maintain, and operate critical flight-related networking and telemetry systems for hypersonic testbed missions. This role requires hands-on expertise across enterprise infrastructure, data systems, and mission operations support, with responsibility for both corporate networks and specialized aerospace systems.

What you'll do

  • Design and support data, telemetry, and network systems for flight test missions across local and extended range operations
  • Manage corporate infrastructure including switches, firewalls, routers, WiFi, and cloud networking products
  • Prepare and validate data system assets pre-flight; troubleshoot network issues during tests and missions
  • Develop software tools and maintain telemetry/network tests in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Administer servers, workstations, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and virtualized environments; perform security updates and CVE remediation
  • Travel to launch and recovery sites to provide on-site mission operations support and escalation
