About this role

Join Stripe's Finance Operational Excellence team to design and deploy AI agents that automate financial workflows. You'll work directly with finance teams to identify opportunities, build end-to-end solutions from prototype to production, and enable sustained ownership through training and documentation.

What you'll do

  • Partner with Finance teams to diagnose workflows, identify high-impact automation opportunities, and translate requirements into AI and automation solutions
  • Build and operationalize AI agents for finance use cases, including prototyping, validation, monitoring, documentation, and stakeholder handoff
  • Write and optimize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation to ensure accurate, explainable Finance outputs
  • Design reusable knowledge layers, evaluation methods, and data-quality frameworks to improve agent accuracy and accelerate future implementations
  • Enable long-term team ownership through clear SOPs, runbooks, training, and self-service tooling
  • Establish monitoring and observability for deployed agents, including metrics, alerting, and incident response
