About this role

Stripe is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their new Professional Services team, building custom software solutions and scalable Stripe integrations directly for enterprise clients. You'll architect production applications, collaborate across technical and business stakeholders, and help shape the direction of this emerging consulting service.

What you'll do

  • Design and architect secure, scalable technical solutions aligned with customer needs
  • Build and deploy production applications combining user business logic, Stripe best practices, and user-facing interfaces
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to bridge technical and business requirements
  • Engage directly with users to understand challenges and co-develop custom solutions
  • Contribute reusable tooling, frameworks, and best practices to scale impact across multiple accounts
  • Drive the strategic direction and technical initiatives of the Forward Deployed Engineering team
