About this role
Stripe seeks a Software Engineer to build and maintain payment infrastructure for card network integrations. You'll develop software that communicates with external financial partners using industry-standard protocols, while advising peers on architecture and leading technical initiatives.

- Build, test, and deploy software infrastructure for card payment integrations with external card networks and processors
- Debug and improve existing software; develop testing and validation procedures
- Integrate codebases with external financial partners using industry-standard protocols
- Implement unit, functional, and integration tests to prevent bugs and regressions
- Advise peers on integration architecture, build system choices, and payment processing implementation
- Set mission and perform planning/prioritization for an engineering team
