Software Engineer I - Core Compute Platform

About this role

StubHub is hiring a Platform Engineer to help design and maintain their core compute platform built on AWS EKS, enabling hundreds of internal services and supporting AI-driven workflows. You'll build developer tools and abstractions that simplify platform complexity while improving reliability and velocity across the engineering organization.

What you'll do

• Evolve the AWS EKS-based compute platform to support AI and agentic development workflows
• Design and build developer-facing tools, SDKs, and services that improve engineering productivity
• Create intuitive platform interfaces and abstractions that reduce cognitive load for internal users
• Contribute to automation and tooling initiatives that enhance platform performance and reliability
• Collaborate with senior engineers to identify technical improvements and support engineering teams
• Promote software development best practices and maintain high quality standards
