About this role
Stuut is seeking a Data Engineer to build the foundational data infrastructure for their rapidly growing AI-powered platform. As the first data hire, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the entire data stack, transforming raw financial data from various sources into actionable insights that drive product decisions and customer success. This high-impact role requires a strategic thinker who is also comfortable building pipelines and systems from the ground up.
What you'll do
- Design and build data pipelines from ERPs, payment processors, and internal systems.
- Develop a semantic/metrics layer for consistent data across analytics and AI/ML systems.
- Design a canonical data model to normalize data from diverse sources.
- Create event and signal pipelines for data-driven product features.
- Partner with product, engineering, and ML teams to ensure data quality and observability.
- Implement DataOps best practices to maintain data accuracy and timeliness.
