About this role
Co-op opportunity with STR's Sensors Division to develop advanced radar, electronic warfare, and imaging systems. Work alongside experienced engineers on real-world national security projects spanning RF hardware, signal processing, machine learning, and embedded systems—from prototype development through field testing.
What you'll do
- Contribute to sensor system projects across problem design, prototyping, and implementation phases
- Develop RF analog/digital hardware or signal processing algorithms under mentor guidance
- Participate in experimentation, data analysis, and system integration for test platforms
- Collaborate with experts in machine learning, computer vision, tracking, and optimization
- Support full lifecycle work from conception through fielded system deployment
- Apply technical skills to solve national security challenges in radar, sonar, or imaging domains
