Data Engineer
About this role
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines powering Tennr's healthcare referral platform, owning the data engineering function from application to Snowflake. Lead EHR integrations across multiple healthcare systems while architecting data governance, security, and models that enable internal teams to drive business insights.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain production data pipelines from Tennr's application into Snowflake with focus on reliability and performance
- Lead EHR discovery and integration initiatives across 5-10 healthcare systems, evaluating technical tradeoffs and implementing solutions
- Architect Snowflake instance setup, implement security best practices, manage governance, and ensure HIPAA compliance with zero data exposure
- Design data models that transform raw healthcare data into actionable assets for internal analytics and tooling
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to detect and resolve pipeline issues with minimal business impact
- Explore AI-enabled approaches to extract insights from unstructured clinical referral documentation
