About this role

Join Tennr's Infrastructure team as a Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain the systems protecting a healthcare platform handling sensitive patient data. You'll own on-call tooling rollout, observability instrumentation, and the full lifecycle of credentials and encryption keys in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

What you'll do

  • Roll out and configure PagerDuty across engineering teams with escalation policies, schedules, and runbooks
  • Implement Datadog instrumentation including metrics, traces, and alerts aligned with observability standards
  • Manage credential storage and rotation across all environments
  • Handle certificate issuance, renewal, and rotation processes
  • Oversee encryption key lifecycle and rotation to protect PHI end-to-end
  • Mentor teams on reliability and security best practices

  • Site Reliability Engineering or infrastructure systems background
  • PagerDuty or similar on-call and incident response tools
  • Datadog or comparable observability platform expertise
  • Secrets and certificate management (AWS Secrets Manager, KMS, ACM, Vault)
  • Encryption key management and rotation
  • HIPAA and healthcare compliance understanding
  • Infrastructure automation and scripting
  • Security-focused attention to detail
