Network Engineer III
About this role
Trace3 seeks a Network Engineer III to deploy on-site to federal and commercial customer locations in the Baltimore/Annapolis Junction area, designing and implementing enterprise network infrastructure while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers on strategic IT engagements.
What you'll do
- Design, install, configure, and maintain network systems including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues with minimal supervision on medium to high complexity projects
- Produce technical design documentation and as-built documentation independently
- Serve as key member of customer program teams with day-to-day on-site engagement
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior Field Engineers
- Communicate project status clearly to customers, supervisors, and project managers
