Supplier Development Engineer
About this role
True Anomaly seeks a Supplier Development Engineer to build and qualify a world-class supplier network for aerospace flight hardware. You will bridge engineering and supply chain, managing supplier lifecycle from qualification through continuous improvement across propulsion, structures, power, avionics, and other critical domains.
What you'll do
- Lead supplier qualification processes including technical audits, capability assessments, risk evaluations, and first article inspections
- Develop and implement supplier quality programs with scorecards tracking first-pass yield, return rates, and on-time delivery
- Manage supplier performance across propulsion, structures, power systems, avionics, PCBA, and harnessing technical domains
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean process optimization with supplier partners
- Conduct supplier relationship management and risk assessments to ensure resilient supply chain
- Collaborate with engineering teams to flow down technical requirements and quality standards to suppliers
