About this role

TrueTandem seeks an experienced Azure Network Engineer to design and optimize secure Virtual Desktop environments in Azure Government for federal intelligence customers. You'll architect zero-trust infrastructure, manage compliance with FedRAMP/NIST controls, and support mission-critical cloud modernization across isolated security enclaves.

What you'll do

  • Design and configure secure Azure Virtual Desktop environments across IL4-IL7 isolation levels
  • Implement conditional access, FSLogix profiles, and zero-trust network segmentation policies
  • Automate AVD deployments using Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
  • Monitor AVD performance, user experience, and incident response via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  • Integrate AVD with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions
  • Support Authority to Operate (ATO) and maintain FedRAMP High / NIST 800-53 compliance
